Scoop Volleyball
Scoop Volleyball is a team-based game where players use scoops, ball and net. Players may only touch the ball with their scoop—no hands or bodies—and the goal is to get the ball over the net and into the opposing team’s area. Each team is allowed up to three scoop passes before returning the ball, and one bounce on the ground is permitted per side to keep the game moving. Points are scored when the opposing team fails to return the ball, hits it out of bounds, lets it bounce twice, or touches it with their hands. The game can be played indoors or outdoors with 2–4 players per team, and the net height and court size can be adjusted based on age and skill level.
One Bounce Ultimate
Work with your team to move the ball into the end zone using scoops to score points. Divide players into two teams. The team with the ball is on offense and tries to pass the ball using their scoops to reach the end zone. Players may throw and catch with their scoops only—no running while holding the ball. A pass can be caught in the air or after one bounce. If the ball bounces more than once or is dropped, the other team gets the ball. The defense cannot hit or knock the ball out of someone’s scoop—only try to intercept passes. If the offense catches the ball in the end zone, they score 1 point. The defending team takes the ball to mid-court and becomes the new offense. Play continues until time runs out.
