YBell Triangulate Your Preparation

June 19th, 2021 - 11am EST

Triangulating your preparation means the ‘targeted’ use of multiple mobility concepts or methods to help prepare the body for the strength, power & muscle endurance ahead. This session will focus on:

    • Quick self-check mobility sequences
    • Proximal stability to create triplanar mobility
    • Improving stability and triplanar strength through loaded levers

Chad is a CanFitPro PTS author, ProTrainer, keynote speaker & sponsored fitness presenter. Chad has developed numerous functional fitness, assessment, fitness franchise educational platforms.

Cameron Lichtwer

With an extensive background in sports such as premiership rugby, hockey, muay thai and jiu jitsu, Cam focused in on advanced coaching methodologies, education and partnerships to bring his clients and students the most current and science-based programming to date. Cam has spent the last 6 (of 16) years in the fitness industry developing and presenting workshops as a Pro Trainer with industry organizations such as: BCPTI, New Balance, Hyperice, ViPRPro, 360Athletics, Biosteel, and the South Surrey Eagles Hockey Club.

Coach Cam is dedicated to the progress of his clients as well as the education of current and future trainers. Outside of fitness, Cam has a passion for anything country, or educating and entertaining the masses on his Instagram account @CFTSAthletics.

Multi-Pod YBell Workout

June 24th, 2021 - 7pm EST

YBell Founder and Creator, Aaron “Az” Laurence, will be running through one of his go-to YBell workouts! This session will contain 3 separate tri-pods using the YBell as 3 different pieces of equipment.

Pod #1 will be a dumbbell ladder pod. We’ll set the timer for 10 minutes and perform 3 exercises sequentially starting at 2 reps per exercise and then ladder up by 1 rep each round until that 10 minutes is up.

Pod #2 will use the YBell as a double grip medicine ball. This will be a 10 minute AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) where we run through 3 different exercises and attempt to complete as many rounds as possible before the 10 minutes is up.

Pod #3 is a kettlebell pod that will follow a circuit type format. We’ll perform each exercise for 45 seconds of work followed by a 15 second break before advancing to the next exercise. The goal is to complete 3 or 4 rounds to finish the session off!

Aaron "AZ" Laurence

As a certified personal trainer and the inventor of the YBell, Aaron "Az" Laurence loves motivating people to become better versions of themselves. He enjoys designing challenging workouts for himself that he can use with his clients.

Az developed the YBell to replace the multiple pieces of equipment he was using in his group training sessions. He enjoys seeing his clients' reactions when they realize they only have to change grips on their YBells to change equipment. And he loves being able to dial up the intensity of their workouts with just one training tool.

Seeing clients progress both physically and mentally as a result of training fuels his passion for the fitness industry.
